Topcon RL-H5A Rotating Laser Level Kit is the next generation of self-levelling construction lasers. With a high accuracy and a long range, the RL-H5A is simple to use for checking elevations. Proven reliability on any job site with long-range consistency and ease of use.

With electronic self-levelling, you press the power button and go right to work in seconds. If the RL-H5A gets disturbed on the job, it relevels itself automatically. The self-levelling motors are accurate to ±1.5 mm at 30m.

The instrument has the power and range to cover an 800m diameter job site.

The RL-H5A gives you the option of up to 60 hours of continuous usage with the rechargeable battery pack or 100 hours with 4x type D alkaline batteries.

With an IP66 rating, the RL-H5A is “job site tough” and can withstand dust, a sudden shower and even torrential rainfall.

Included is a Topcon LS-110D Rotary Laser Detector with digital readout (mm/inch). It shows the mm/inch scale on the display to see the elevation or drop e.g. 23mm - 18mm - 5mm - 2mm - LEVEL. Staff mounting bracket, Holder 110 is also included.

Versatile and designed for maximum User convenience, the LS-110D laser detector features a digital read-out to confidently deliver elevation and vertical alignment control on demand.

It features an extra-wide beam capture sensor that also rejects annoying interference from strobe light exposures. The large and bright LCD displays (both front and rear) feature 9-channels of grade information and digitally show the distance to on-grade. By pressing the Hold button, the display is locked so the user can conveniently read the results. For added versatility, three coloured LED’s and a strong magnet mount are embedded for vertical operation, ideal for steel erection or operator grade checking while excavating.

To assist in monitoring the Topcon rotating laser, alert icons appear on the LCD if the instrument is disturbed (HI alert) or when the laser battery is low.

The LS-110D is compact and lightweight. At 135 x 69 x 25mm and approx. 200g with battery; it won’t slow your team down. One standard type AA alkaline battery powers it for up to 65 hours, so you’re not stopping to find & swap batteries mid-shift.

Technical specification

Accuracy:

+/- 1.5mm @ 30 metres, max. operating diameter 800m (400m either side of the instrument).

An accuracy of +/- 1.5mm @ 30 metres is equivalent to 0.05 mm/m and to put that into perspective, the best premium German spirit level has an accuracy of +/- 0.5 mm/m or +/- 15mm @ 30 metres.

Single Grade facility accessed via laser’s keypad:

Single grading in X axis only up to +/-10% (1 in 10)

The X axis can be set to give a maximum fall of up to 1m at 10m distance away. (ie. 1 in 10 & +/-10% grade)

The User can only set grades from the laser's keypad. There is no option to use a remote control.

To set grades greater than 10%, use an optional Manual Grade Adapter.

The optional ShockWatch impact indicator clip is a tamperproof, mechanically activated device that turns bright red to indicate mishandling or after the Laser has received an excessive impact. Designed to mount directly onto the Laser Level, the clip is compact and economical and provides 360° impact detection alerting the user to check the Lasers Calibration before use. If this option is selected, our Technicians will fit your Laser with a Shockwatch prior to dispatch, giving you and your users extra piece of mind on the job site.
