What products can we Calibrate?

Unlike some online retailers we are not just a general tool company offering "off the shelf" laser levels with no backup and after-sales facilities. We have access to comprehensive Calibration facilities and ALWAYS calibrate to within manufacturers specifications of any given product; where and whenever possible.

If you believe that your instrument needs re-calibrating please click the "Start" button to begin the process of booking your instrument in for calibration. Upon receipt, we will then assess the instrument and contact you with an estimate.

Please note: Calibration is not covered under warranty and therefore is always chargeable.

Check product has our "supplied by" label

If your product was purchased from us and has our "supplied by" label, please move onto step 2.

Submit RMA Calibration Request

Click Here to fill out the RMA Calibration Request form and generate your unique RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number.

Once submitted, box up all parts (minus the tripod & staff). If for example, it's a laser level kit, we want to see the entire kit e.g Case, Laser, Detector, Battery Pack, Charger, Remote etc... not just the laser. Then move on to step 3.

Post or Courier it back to us

Send the product(s) back to us via the Post office or your Courier. Upon receipt we will send you a text message to say it has arrived safely. After it has been inspected we will then advise accordingly. We will contact you and provide an estimate for the calibration and if any repairs are required. No work will be carried out without your prior approval. If you choose not to have the work carried out, all you will pay is the £10.00 + VAT DPD return delivery cost to have it sent back. There is no cost for inspection.

What if my product does not have one of your "supplied by" labels?

Unfortunately our comprehensive Servicing, Repair and Calibration services are only available for products which were originally purchased from us.

If your product does not carry one of our "supplied by" labels you will need to contact your original supplier for Servicing and Repair. We will not Service or Repair any product which does not carry our "supplied by" label and you will be charged for the product to be returned.

Why is calibration not covered under warranty?

Calibration is not covered under warranty because it is categorised as a "consumable" as opposed to an issue which has directly arisen from a manufacturing or material defect. In much the same way that your cars steering alignment (tracking) would not be covered by a dealership.

If within the first 90 days, you are not satisfied or have changed your mind with any purchase, we will give you a full refund when it is returned to us in an unused condition, complete with all of the original packaging. We regret that refunds cannot be issued for equipment that shows any evidence of having been used and we are unable to refund the inbound delivery charge.

Incorrect product supplied

It is extremely unusual for our warehouse team to dispatch a product which was not ordered. However, if this occurs please contact our sales team on 08000 869 769 who will be able to advise the best way to resolve the issue.

Faulty or Damaged products

All of our products are checked and calibrated (where applicable), prior to dispatch.
If a product is faulty or becomes faulty through normal use, please contact our technical team on 08000 869 769. Sometimes, initial issues can be resolved over the phone.

If the issue cannot be resolved over the phone, you will be directed to complete an RMA return form. Click Here to fill out the product returns form and generate your unique RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) product returns number.

At our discretion, we will either: repair, replace or return the item to you (we return the item if we feel there is no manufacturing fault).

Warranty

Outlet Products either have a 1 or 2-year automatic warranty. Typically, accessories and ancillary products have a 1-year warranty and Laser Levels have a 2-year warranty. Automatic Warranty Registration

All warranty registrations are automatically registered and activated at the time of purchase. No action is required on your behalf. In the unlikely event, you have an issue with your product, you simply need to contact us and we will then be able to assist further.
