About this Product
Overview
The Spectra Precision® LL1505C features a rugged design with a metal sunshade that provides superior drop and weather protection (IP66).
The rugged LL1505C laser can withstand drops of up to 1 metre (three feet) onto concrete and tripod tipovers up to 1.5 metres (five feet). This strength, combined with full weatherproofing and dustproofing, reduces downtime and lowers repair costs over the life of the product.
The LL1505C laser's self-levelling capability and optional RC1402 radio remote control result in outstanding accuracy and ease of use. Since the LL1505C automatically levels itself when turned on, setup is easy with fewer controls to deal with. The arrow buttons on the keypad offer easy slope matching, with a controlled setup using the HI-alert function.
The optional RC1402 radio remote control with a 100m range makes slope matching, a single person operation.
Laser detector upgrades are available: Select the standard HL450 or upgrade to either the HL760 or the Spectra CR700.
Outet: 2 Year Automatic Warranty
Bluetooth Built-in
The Spectra LL1505C incorporates Bluetooth connectivity. This connects the laser to an app loaded on your smart device, giving you even more control over the laser settings. With the app, you can control all the functions the same as you could from the laser keypad. In addition to being convenient, it’s also available at no cost from the Google Play Store (Android), saving system costs in the process.
Specialist advanced features:
The Spectra Precision HL760 or CR700 detectors offer both "Automatic Grade Match" as described below.
Automatic Grade Matching. A very useful feature for drainage work. You will need both the HL760 or CR700 detector with either the RC1402 remote control or the Spectra Precision Laser Remote Bluetooth App.
The remote control menu is used to access the Auto Grade Matching feature and to signal the laser level to scan up or down (in its Y-axis) to find the detector at its set height. A radio link between the two, enables the laser to be set to the required slope. This is much faster and more accurate than trying to manually set the laser to the required slope.
Features
Operating diameter of 800m with supplied HL450 Detector.
Increases productivity with fast setups, fewer mechanical parts, and automatic self-levelling
Maintains performance even in rainy, dusty and other harsh job site and weather conditions
Durable design reduces downtime due to drops and tripod tipovers
Minimizes power costs, increases reliability with choice of rechargeable or alkaline batteries
Increased flexibility with an optional long-range Radio remote control
Comes with choice of the standard HL450 detector or upgrade to an CR700, so you can choose the best option to suit your application.

Upgrade the kit to have the HL760 Detector & Bracket:
The Spectra Precision® Laser HL760 Laser Detector, a highly versatile laser receiver for basic and advanced leveling and aligning applications, is designed for general, concrete and site preparation contractors.
The HL760 is an easy-to-use tool that accurately measures elevations across the site, and is ideal for use with any rotating red beam laser level.
It features a digital readout of elevation that provides a numeric display of +/-50mm to 0.5mm resolution. The readout is displayed on the large front and rear LCD's and shows exactly how far the elevation is from on-grade. Accurate measurements can be made without moving the rod clamp, saving time and increasing productivity.
Selectable units of measurement can be displayed to meet your specific application - mm, cm, ft, in or fractional inches.
A 127mm long pick-up window, more than double the industry standard, allows quick acquisition of the laser beam.
An anti-strobe sensor prevents false readings from any adjacent site strobe lights.
This detector is designed to survive tough construction site conditions; it is totally waterproof (IP67) and can withstand a drop of 3 metres (10 feet) onto concrete.
The HL760 comes with a 3-year "No Excuses" warranty. It can be used as either a hand-held or staff mounted detector for a wide range of applications.
Features:
Reduces rework by allowing remote monitoring.
Increases reliability, accuracy and durability.
No need to go "on-grade" to measure: saves considerable setting-out time.
Digital readout of elevation - not only will high or low arrows be displayed, but the exact distance from grade will be numerically displayed, which eliminates the need to get "on-grade" to make measurements.
Large 127mm reception height acquires the beam quickly and makes it easy to stay in the beam. Anti-strobe sensor stops construction strobe lights from setting off the detector and makes it easier to identify true laser beam signals.
Simultaneous elevation LED's signal in low light levels and over a longer range for easier reading in poor light conditions.
A new CAPTURE function remotely captures and retains a measurement, when the display is difficult to see.
Multiple deadband sensitivity settings, five in all, allows adaptation to meet all your jobsite requirements.
Dust and weatherproof housing withstands a drop of up to 3 m (10 ft) onto concrete for reduced downtime.
Two clamp positions for cut/fill or excavation. Excavation mode puts more reception height and elevation information above grade for higher utilization in digging and staking applications.
Technical specification
Accuracy:
+/- 1.5mm @ 30 metres, max. operating diameter 800m (400m either side of the instrument).
An accuracy of +/- 1.5mm @ 30 metres is equivalent to 0.05 mm/m and to put that into perspective, the best premium German spirit level has an accuracy of +/- 0.5 mm/m or +/- 15mm @ 30 metres.
Dual Grade facility with optional RC1402 Remote Control:
Dual axis X and Y axis up to +/-10% (1 in 10)
Both X & Y axis can be set to give a maximum fall of up to 1m at 10m distance away. (ie. 1 in 10 & +/-10% grade)
The User can single grade from the laser's keypad or for dual-grading applications, the optional radio remote, (RC1402) is required.
Example usage
General elevation control
Leveling and aligning of forms and footers
Checking and setting elevations for small to medium job sites
Estimating cut and fills
Excavations
Basic slopes for driveways and ramps
